Older and younger siblings are ALWAYS welcome to participate in the fun!!
About Pack 196:
Pack 196 welcomes everyone, accepting girls and boys in kindergarten through 5th grade. We have Scouts from Live Oaks, Orchard Hills, and Calf Pen. We are happy to welcome new members from anywhere in Milford, as well as Orange, West Haven, and generally anyone who is okay with traveling to Live Oaks Elementary School in Milford, CT. Pack 196’s commitment to diversity and status as a Family Pack allows us to offer a fully co-ed pack with both boys and girls as part of the same den.
Pack 196 meets monthly on the Second Friday of the month, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM during the School Year at Live Oaks Elementary School. We also have summertime activities. Typically, a picnic in June, a Hike in July, and a Pizza Party at Gulf Beach at the end of August just before school starts. We are sponsored by American Legion Post 196. The pack is around 30 scouts strong, divided among six dens, with an all-volunteer leadership team of 6 den leaders, Cub Master, and pack-level committee members.
